That image looks like something straight out of Assassin's Creed 2, just with a modern skin...hmmm.
The question for me (a student) is if this stacks with the education discount, which I doubt.
Yes it is lame, if by lame you mean the greatest box art ever.
I can't think of my favorite gaming moment (since their is so much to choose from), but I will say that the menu screens and music when you boot any of these games up is fantastic.
This surprise announcement made me very happy. The first game is an excellent Action RPG, similar in a lot of ways to KotoR, with a lot of depth and variety. I also really like a developer that comes back after a year and gives everyone a free update that adds new missions and enables you to use the game without having the CD in your CD drive.
Exactly what I thought. Looks like a princess wearing a hat and closing her eyes.
I consider the Big Lebowski, Fargo and No Country For Old Men better than Miller's Crossing, but that's not to say it's a bad movie in the slightest. It's just hard to rank the Coen Brother's movies when they make so many top notch films.

Great recommendation though.
I too have been waiting a long time for this song. Glad to see it's only a 1$ as well!
Fantastic, I'm surprised the game corporation that's not taking itself too seriously is Sony, but I'm glad to see them willing to poke fun at themselves (and make some entertaining ads too!)
I'd love to be able to listen to the podcast.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
