I am so fucking sick of 2 year contracts. The reason I signed with Sprint 12 years ago is because I didn't have to sign a contract to join, but still got a good deal on a cool phone. Now every company doubles the price of the phone and gives you "discounts" for committing 2 FREAKIN YEARS OF YOUR LIFE to a device that has a shelf life of MAYBE a year. Hell, even the AWESOME SUPERIOR IPHONE only lasted a year before they replaced it with a newer model.
The "bundle IE thing" was not overblown. MS wasn't merely front loading IE on Windows and giving it away for free, they were INTEGRATING it into the OS, making it damn near impossible to uninstall, and possibly crippling the OS by trying.
Holy shit, is engadget gonna post a fucking update for every timezone??? Jesus, we got the first post, no need to beat us down with it. Isn't there a kickass Kindle update or something?
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
