the cdma "3g" is an older standard that is slower than the hspa "3g" really these cdma phones are only slightly faster than the edge gsm phones.. the 8120, 8320 would be a better choice because of wifi speeds .. this new berry is the first small form factor 3g phone so it is a big deal.. the thing is people use phones in more places than north america so hspa is a big deal.. cdma isn't going to cut it for a lot of people
thinkgeek has the 120gb version for 499$
Agreed! I remember that one!

I had to work for a week painting as a kid to save up for my gameboy, first big thing I ever got.. prob the best system Ive ever had as far as play hours go... think of the awesome games!!

puzzle games like Tetris and Dr Mario and Yoshi were great, the super mario land series was great... remember F1 Race with the 4 player adapter??!! Ballin ... final fantasy legend was good, final fantasy legend was better... PENGUIN WARS.. awesome... and piles more

Ive been a sucker for Nintendo ever since.. own every portable (including a virtual boy which isn't getting enough props really.. its a "boy" too) but the original gameboy brings back the best memories..
1 gb is 30$... and their 45$ voice and data has 200 anytime min, free eve and weekends, unlimited txts and mms, and 500mb of data.. considering the phone has wifi and so do most places people go.. you wont be using much data at all really... unless you are downloading torrents while driving or somthin... its finally cheap in Canada! oh.. and they are cool with tethering as well... and warn you by txt when you are at 80% and 100% of your data plan
Haha I was looking for some one commenting on that... My thoughts exactly!
@ George

The Source By Circuit City is not closing, it is open for business, and is being bought by Bell Canada later on this year...
Go for the 8900 then, I personally have the bold, and 3g is great if you arn't near a wifi hot spot, and really I like the bold keyboard better (have had a 8300 for a year, and didn't like it as much either) but the screen, camera, size, and UMA which this article doesn't mention (uses the wifi hotspot as a cell tower to make calls for better reception in buildings or outlying areas) is HUGE and the bold doesnt support it... just don't buy a storm :D
I kill you with bananas....
you mean cheap broken nanos right?? :D

...PROFIT!
I manage a Source By Circuit City in Ottawa, Canada, and want to assure you that we are not closing our doors, we are in talks with a few potential buyers and will release news on Jan 23rd. We run our business differently than Circuit City (we do not focus on HDTV's) and we are profitable. Its really sad to see Circuit City go under, but Intertan (the company that ran Radio Shack in Canada and now the Source) will be open for business as usual.

"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
