"La Jolla" in some Italian regions is slang for "the joint". NOT to mean a junction :D
because we are. Most of us. At least, I am.
except that this "average dSLR" shoots are taken with a pocketable point and shoot camera.
not so beautiful, but - I SUPPOSE - this is the exact same camera that Leica will present next week as the "X1".. and THAT is a beautiful piece of a camera! Too bad that the old school german design will be priced as much as the hardware itself, as Leica likes to do...
17mm is 17mm on the small sensor too. Size of the frame is halved, but DOF remains the same... and you don't really need to precisely focus a 17mm.
What? You take pictures on 35mm? How can you live with the lack of resolution of such a small piece of film? Until cheap 150 megapixels point and shot will be sold, I'll keep on with 6x6 film! My Yashicamat smokes you Rollei, hahahahahaha!
And you should check the useful links Engadget provide :D
Considered the crazy prices Italian carriers charges for mobile data, I bet they are quite happy of skype coming to handhones!
On the Italian TV news:
"Japanese developed a robot that can read your mind"

Next stop, world domination.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
