video should be vizio
I have never had any sync issues with my wdtv and mkv files. I have a crap video 720p tv and every now and then I have turn off the tv and then turn it back on again to fix and audio issue where everything is static. I believe a lot of audio probs that I read about are actually HDMI handshake problems. Whether that is a shortcoming of the wdtv or the tv's I don't know.

I will be buying this as soon as newegg has it. Can I have USB powered 2tb hd's please?
That was truly hilarious! thanks. Watching Valiant with my son this weekend helped, too.
This is my prob with the wdtv. No DTS support and I don't have a receiver. Does Audio Extractor (platunum, I guess) put the ac3 track back into the container or are you using something else?
supporting networking problems is really expensive.
There are so many factors that a support call would be 20+ mins average instead of the 2 or 3 for the "is my format supported" questions.
Wow, This will fix the economy.
There is no way to fix the economy, it just needs a full reboot.
...And this is the argument. E-ink display is beautiful tech but E-book readers are just dumb from cost verse feature standpoint, especially when we are comfortable with smartphones and laptops. IF you are missing the point completely.
How can you not see the point of a single purpose devices that lets you access, practically, all books? You saying that is like looking at a sudanese, child refugee and pointing out that you don't see the point in drinking fortified powdered milk because a mcdonald's happy meal also comes with a toy.

How do we fix the economy? I propose some kind of magic beans that would allow, unlimited food and water on demand, on demand power and on demand building materials. This is easy!
You gotta watch out for those negative feedbags. The horses just eat and eat and they only get hungrier!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
