A free alternative might be iPhoney - http://www.marketcircle.com/iphoney/

I use it to test iPhone websites i create locally before uploading them.
Yeah, and they'll release such a thing like that without a single press release, keynote, hint or rumour. Jeeze...
In response to your question regarding an iPhone app that went along with the case, you can download Mactracker for iPhone. It's like everymac.com for your iPhone and contains startup chimes and sounds from many of the original Apple computers. They also do a desktop version!

i thought is was pr0n...
I wonder if this happening on the 30th instead of the 31st has anything to do with the fact this year is a leap year (1 extra day longer than a regular year).
I wonder if this kicks off the whole Orange to provide iPhones in the UK thing anytime soon.
@Samboini

Actually he said there was a red ball sack on top, not his balls were red.
Chorus was definately the best bit but seriously... it's jsut a battery and that was a poor first.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
