Sorry bit it's not. we have the Microsoft dev kit and had a chance to play with the Sony kit behind closed doors in Brighton. Right now, the Sony want is like 100x better than Natal, and has loads more posibilities, it's also much more accurate than Wiimote, even with the WiiMotion+

I know it's trendy to hate Sony (or at least it was in 2007), but really have the best tech, so you really ought to change your opinions of them, as the only one thats missing out is YOU.

We have 4 PS3 exclusives being worked on 5 multiplats, and NO Xbox exclusives, it's simply no longer worth it, the Xbox cannot push gaming anymore, the PS3 is where we now lead, and multiplats for everything else.
" Instead of admitting faults and setting deadlines to fix said faults, they'd rather sweep the problems under the rug and pretend like it never existed"

Like Microsoft with with RROD?

I would rather live without a ingame audio chat, and have my console break every other month because Microsoft skimped on component costs, testing and design.

There is little to differentiate the 2 systems.

1 costs money (the price of a full price ga,e every year), and has cross game audio chat).
1 is free and has 99% of the others, with the added advantage of dedicated servers for lag-free gaming.

Personally PSN wins hands down. I have both consoles, but stopped paying for XBL last year, I can no longer justify it, and most of my mates have moved to PS3 too (which helps). Added to the fact Xbox has nothing that interests me in the pipeline gamewise, and Microsofts entire E3 focusing on non-gaming stuff, tells me they are done..
LOL,, so many brainwashed xbots here.

Microsoft charges you for a P2P system. (laggy)
PS3 is a mix of PSP and dedicated servers (fast).

If anything, the PS3 servers are FAR better, and free..
It's got a browser, and DLNA streaming which trumps everything, as it means you can get any services you want, if you know how, including Netflix, Hulu (with new hack), YouTube, Facebook, Bebo, Last.fm...

Sure Microsoft might should from the rooftops about these things, but they come as standard on PS3 and always have done.
You know there is cross game txt chat on PS3, and ingame voicechat on pretty much all PS3 titles, and even PartyChat with video/audio/txt on PS3 (not ingame yet).

Clearly you don;t, and you don't even own a PS3.
And i'll stop laughing at all the clueless idiots that have been instructed what to think by Joystiq and Kotaku.

Seriously, do you have a mind of your own?
See what they did there? The usual subtle but deliberate Weblogs trick.

Just prior to PSPGo launch, they invent some PSP2 rumour.

You masters back at Redmond are very happy with you.
There won't be another PS3 next year, that's a rumour started by Microsoft to attempt at stalling PS3 building sales momentum.

Clearly Microsofts PS3 FUD is starting to wear thin, and people are seeing past it, that actually PS3 is fantastic hardware, fantastic value, and has the best lineup of games this year.

They are also getting the fact, that in 2 years less than Microsoft, Sony has managed to srink from 90nm process to 45nm process, and all the while Microsoft still haven't managed to fix RROD. Guess that's what you get when you buy hardware from a software company. If I bought a car from a washing machine company, I wouldn't be suprised if it broke down all the time.
I heard a couple of people talking about this 360 thing here in Europe. What is it? Is it like a Playstation?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
