OpenOffice distances itself from OpenOfficeMouse, joins everyone else {Engadget}

Nov 9th 2009 9:54PM Well they ran a story telling about the mouse and now this one is about how the mouse and openoffice.org are not connected in any way. Quit complaining and go onto the next story next time they post something youre not interested in.

Josh reveals TwitterPeek on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Qlorigan** (video) {Engadget}

Nov 3rd 2009 3:01AM He probably knew he only had a minute left which would be not nearly enough time to go over a phone such as the HD2 so he went for the twitter peek which got some laughs. The TwitterPeek isnt going to sell because anyone who would use twitter is going to have a phone able to send and receive tweets anyways so no need to carry around another device to duplicate the service.

Nov 3rd 2009 2:56AM Droid is good because its the first android phone on Verizon. Android is a great smartphone OS and Verizon is a good carrier (read carrier with good coverage). And this comes from an iPhone user on AT&T.

I'm pretty sure the leo is going to be a windows mobile 6.5 device. At least from all the pictures ive seen of it thats what has been on it. So to answer your question no unless it comes out with android as well then i would say most definitely.

Google says it's now blocking 'fewer than 100' numbers in Google Voice {Engadget}

Oct 29th 2009 3:57AM Actually google is acting as a teleco company when it comes to google voice just as much as they are becoming a GPS company with their new software. Just because they are free doesnt mean they can play against the rules. And because they are providing a free service whereas AT&T and the rest of them charge and make a great deal of money off us it means they are going to be held even tighter to the rules by the competition. Dont get me wrong i love google but fairs fair.

Oct 29th 2009 3:52AM I thought they just took out all the rules in the NBA to make it more "exciting" to watch. Oh well college basketball is where its at, Go Cougs.

FCC net neutrality rules enter drafting process, face McCain challenge {Engadget}

Oct 24th 2009 6:22AM I wish ISPs were just gatekeepers and nothing more. Ill pay you once a month to let me use your tubes at a certain speed and thats it. Don't slow my connection speed for using torrents, cap my monthly usage, have the ability to block sites, or even the ability to see what kind of data i'm sending and receiving. And the government is there to protect my freedoms and not give companies the freedom to do as they please when I only have one broadband service provider in my area. This is known as a monopoly, if there were 4 or 5 ISPs that anyone could go to then the competition would leave things open and keep prices down so until then it is the governments job to protect the people.

Michael Dell curiously talks down netbooks, slyly bad-mouths Vista {Engadget}

Oct 14th 2009 2:18PM People read way too into stuff. He sells computers so he tells you that you need the latest hardware and software to be happy. No real jab at anything just the same BS a car salesman would say "Oh the 2010 model is way better, you need to buy it to be happy with your car".
