Shaun of the Dead is not about zombies. It's a about a failed relationship that is regenerated through extremely difficult circumstances as the two parties mature while trying to flee an urban death trap and a widespread deadly disease. In this film it's viral depression, in Shaun it's zombies, but the main plot remains very similar.

And for that matter, an episode of Red Dwarf featured an alien that exuded a psychotropic substance that brought on instant suicidal mania, and that was actually quite funny too.
So... it's basically Shaun of the Dead, but not funny. What a waste of Leguizamo.
And actually, the Silhouette camera was first used by NZ meat packers to check beef and mutton carcasses for shrinkage, so it went from that, to Gollum, to wound checking. I'm not sure which of those is the more bizarre industry leap...
Nevermind the fact that her parents seem scandalized that she wants to be a writer, when both of them were, in reality, published authors before she was.
Don't forget that Kurt Russell was actually in a real Elvis movie, and also played Elvis in Forrest Gump, which should be many more points in his favor. But you are correct, Bruce is the King.
I'm looking forward to winning Engadget's most-entered contest ever. Because, you know, that higher the odds, the greater the glory. If that's true in battle, surely its true in lotteries and sweepstakes as well, right?
I think it would be kind of funny if I won, because I don't want this phone particularly desperately. I just need a new phone and think one o' these would work for me.
The only thing that QT really has a handle on is pop culture of the 70s and 80s. I don't think he has enough respect for any history prior to the cheesy movies, tv, comics and music of that period, and there's no way he could do justice to real environments and real events.
The only thing that really bothered me was the score, the no-roto lightsabers, and no ADR for "no blasters, no blasters!" And the VO script could have been punched up a tad...
You can pretty much guarantee that QT doesn't watch any unsolicited films or read any spec scripts for just this reason.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
