Flash on Windows is not the same as Flash on Mac. Get it? Obviously, Adobe has a bigger base on Windows, or has more experience with Windows coding, or whatever that doesn't translate to Mac.
Is it even fair to compare Windows 7 to Snow Leopard? 7 seems like more a tune up of Vista, which really should be the real comparative, if anything. Any Windows fanboys remember those first few months of Vista? :P

Snow Leopard is a huge re-write of the underlying code. Give it time. There's bound to be teething.

On subject, Flash is a resource hog and something did go wrong after upgrading from Leopard to Snow Leopard on my machine, but I researched the problem and found that one of the developer builds before the public release available on Adobe's site allows stutter-free, smooth playback in Safari for Hulu, which was our biggest complaint. Hopefully, Flash 10.1 and/or OS X 10.6.2 will alleviate these stresses.

By the way, I have a mid-2007 iMac that is still going strong and running faster than ever.
Be ready for some Nike+ news at the Apple event tomorrow. ;)
I would use this to show off our daugther's new trick (walking) to my parents who are halfway across the country.
Exactly! Finally, someone mentions the 6GB SMALLER footprint of this "upgrade." Thank you!

Give it a rest, MS fanboys. You're just as bad if not worse than the Apple guys. Charging such a small fee for that much under the hood work is perfectly understandable.
Works fine here. Try re-downloading the growl package and re-installing. Hardware growler is one of the top reasons I have Growl installed, too.
Nice to see the guy getting showered with gifts for being an idiot in the first place.

And here I can't even afford an XBOX360.
Turn it off in the Time Machine options. It's there by default so newbies know the new option exists.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
