@SomePerson snagdragon processor, OLED screen, not sure what else to be honest. Specs are still somewhat sparse. Oh yeah, it's NOT on Verizon :) GSM all the way.
I use to only buy symbian phones for years but I couldn't picture going back to one these days...maemo maybe though.
Yeah, but Apple fans are rapid and will camp on the sidewalk for weeks just to please iSteve.
Don't need to try it, I've seen enough hands-on videos and screenshots.
The thing about Maemo when compared to Android is Maemo (by default) is more geeky than Android. I mean you have a root terminal by default..not sure your average consumer would even know what that is. Android is more user friendly imo. It's like comparing Ubuntu to Debian
So pay more money for this over the n97 with better/more features? Moreover, it's even more than the n900..let me think on that...NO THANKS!
What I really wonder is how this will make it into Apple's App Store. Apple makes money each time something is sold, correct? So if no one is buying TomTom or whatever other GPS apps are available and getting Google Nav for free..well makes you wonder anyway...
I was a huge Symbian fan for years and it's certainly functional but just looking at those screenshots of some of the applications it looks so dated. Hopefully Symbian ^2 and beyond will bring the OS to a more modern era appearance wise.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
