I have to agree with carrots, when screens go beyond 24... it should have a resolution beyond 1080p... or at least something to compensate for the fact that it's the same resolution, just.. bigger. Higher resolutions! :)
Downloaded/Installed on my iPod Touch 2G. App Store won't work, just says loading and then you see (what I guess you call) the loading wheel of doom, where it just keeps going (rather, twitching). The Voice Memo needs a mic plugged in... (I figured)... BlueTooth works... Cut / Copy / Paste pretty spiffy though...
I don't have this camera, but a friend of mine bought it for a trip that we took to an Art & Wine Festival. We had gone to dinner at a sushi bar (was very dim inside), and I had tried using the camera to take a picture of the restaurant's logo printed on the front of the menu cover. Using the exposure compensation settings @ +2, it didn't look any different than @ +0. However it did get significantly darker when I changed it to -2. It might be due to the camera itself and overall just the fact that the place was dark so the camera could not capture enough light *HOWEVER* on the camera's screen it looked perfectly bright @ +2, but upon taking the picture, as mentioned previously, it was dim and looked the same @ +0. Very strange. Overall though the camera is great. Motor noise is a minimum, and it takes pictures very nicely, even with macro.
HP's MIE is actually just a customized version of Ubuntu's own MID version, at least that's what I believe it to be. I tried this on my XPS m1530, but it didn't work after rebooting. It would say something about using the adduser command, but would ask for a password which would never be correct. =[
I tried running this on my Dell XPS M1530, but to no avail. It installed fine, but once I removed the USB drive and rebooted, I got an error saying that the OEM installer failed. From there it suggested doing teh "adduser USERNAME", which I did, but then it asked for a password. I could never get it correct. Oh well, I will wait until somebody figures it out.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
