@gerrrg And by 200 apps you mean over 800? The app catalog had 200 apps back in July.

Also, they announced today that they sold 784,000 phones the past quarter. Seeing as the pre has been out for 2 quarters, it's a safe bet to guess that the Pre has sold over 1 million. Palm just doesn't announce sales for specific handsets.
I hope they are going to add some more markets in the Midwest. Granted Chicago is the biggest city, I would like to see more in like Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, etc.
@MLO
Yeah, a lot of the searching I have done speculates a 4G Samsung Android phone.
@wjr1985
If you are planning to use it in only the areas there is 4G coverage, do it! The speed will be way faster.
Let's hope Sprint will be announcing a 4G phone soon. Rumors say sometime in 2010 I believe.

Maybe 4G Palm Pre?
yeah it must be some big conspiracy. Because when I look at all other automotive news sites, they have the same stories about Toyota too. They post about the stuck pedal recall and the rusting tundra frames. And of course they try to cast something cool like recalls into a negative spin against toyota.

/sarcasm

Maybe toyota just has some negative news about it lately? Are you saying a recall of 3.8 MILLION cars isn't a news worthy item?
@Drybones5

Are you mental? Have you ever looked at the 3G coverage maps for Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T?

AT&T has a fraction of the coverage of Verizon and Sprint.
I wonder if they are going to try and move this onto the old Nextel network and bundle it with boost mobile.
@Unverified (the one without the Sprint logo as the avatar)

Yeah, looks like its GSM and WiMAX phone. The WiMAX is the same frequency as Sprint's 2.5-2.7 GHz. Wonder if they will be changing that phone and brining it to Sprint.

Although it will have to have a crap ton of antennas on it. CDMA 1xRTT, EV-DO, WiMAX, WiFi, Bluetooth.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
