Has anyone yet found a use for these? I can't think of anyhting except a portable media player.... but it's too expensive for that, adn too short a battery life.
So any ideas people??
I think they will keep iPod, the brand name is waaaay to strong these days
Apple WILL stay ahead, my guess is that since zune rumors began, apple has pumped more dev time into this 6G iPod. IMO apple would not get left out on such a major step in the products development, this would make the iPod mcuh more central and all-in-one ish part of peopes lives.
My prediction, before christmas aslong as there are no bugs. Apple has had a dodgy year - MacBook heat, stock options and if this comes out buggy, it won't so them any good!!
"frankly don't think Apple will release a wide-screen iPod for some time. The reason being: the amount of movies available on iTunes."
I've got to disagree. Think about the 5G iPod... It came when there was very few videos on iTunes.
I think Apple has to get ahead and get the hardware, giving people a real reason to buy digital movies. This worked with 5G (look at all the TV shows now available), so why not next gen/WideScreen??
My guess- this will do ok, due to the Xbox 360... but i still think people won't quickly swao their iPods (say zune to someone and they'll really wonder what your on about..)
My prediction seperate iPod true video soon. If apple cn do it, and rumours say they can, they probably will before christmas. They have left that magic £299 open. My guess.. it won't be for long!!
OK, i admit this looks fake, but for all those moaning about the DVD on the front row... could that not be for iTunes MOVIE store??
new cars in the uk have real plates from the beginning. The plate depicts the year where the car was registered, what year, and then random letters at the end
I'm guessing simialar specs to my RX3715 (the last Mobile Media Companion), that i want rid of (well when i get a vPod or similar)...152MB available (probably be about 256?), and SDIO; Nevo software, which is useless, and a bundle of all the usual. This is of course a complete guess, but hey!!
it looks very nice though!
no surprises there then.. any more features to lose on the vista diet... seems to be a very effective diet
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
