yeah you're right.
El Jobso should turn down a chance to possibly add the largest and highest ranked network that could possibly double his sales and makes his company millions all because of a single commercial.....

why do you think they targeted verizon in the first place when they were first shopping the concept.
yeah because MS's 3.05 Billion dollar quarterly earnings for their 4th aurter 2009 (second fiscal quarter) is nothing........

oops.

and they don't even have computer hardware sales to bolster their numbers.
except you forgot to include that Google will be including their public domain books in the store and they are part of the number being represented here.

"Today, Google said it will launch its own e-book store in the first half of 2010 called "Google Editions." This store will sell in-print books in addition to its archive of public domain titles, and will be accessible to "any device with a Web browser," not just for the dedicated e-readers that have gained so much notoriety in the past few years."

except that it's very easy to power an external 2.5" SSD drive off a usb port in addition to the esatat port.

sure it's another cable, but it can still be done.

i do it with a 500GB external on my laptop.

yeap on #3

i have a DSH that has one of these.
it only works with the Dell video player however.

i haven't tried installing TMT3 on it to see if it will work there also.

but it plays back BR discs and rips just fine.
wow
everything old is new again.

i guess that whole using goldenrod cellulose fibers in rubber manufacturing thing Firestone developed in conjunction with Thomas Edison never happened.......

all of the Sony ereaders support pdf files natively.

the problems with pdf's are in how they are created.
they need to be created either in the proper size format or they need to be created in a way that allows for re-flowing of the page layout.
nice too see someone else who actually understands....

oh and right now, the real primary concern is what controller these SSD drives are using.
Which i find funny that they specifically fail to mention anywhere on their "tech specs".....

if you aren't using the indilix, samsung or intel controller, no one is interested. no one with a clue anyway.
uhhhh
it's very easy to pass HD audio to a receiver with modern HDMI equipped motherboards.
you don't even need a separate video card to do this anymore.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
