What gives! The original picture looked fine, and someone has put a crappy background behind it for no apparent reason.
It's a lazy cut and paste job from a mis-type in the original article. My guess is that the author of the original article has intended to type "pornography", but he typed it just below where he typed "Early Childhood" and his brain has played tricks on him and he has typed "child pornography" instead. Joystiq have perpetuated the mistake by ripping off the text.
Nice, but did the handset really have to be blu-tak'd to a film canister that has been used for transporting toxic waste?
Note to developers - do not give to a teenage boy, no matter how disabled. Hottie carnage.
Wouldn't some kind of "uber-GPS" cover more than just two countries (US and Canada)?

I bought one of these at ebuyer a few months ago for £18. Don't spend £49!!!

A three year contract! Three years! I'm on my third phone in 3 years. Can you imagine signing a contract for that long? 15% of marriages don't even last that long! Ouch.
Why would you buy this when there are dimmable versions of energy saving lightbulbs on the market already for 10 times less money?

I have only just started using standby - I used to leave my PCs fully on all of the time until I got my last electricity bill!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
