know what makes speakers sound really good?
putting a piece of glass right in front of them.
yup.
Yup, I've got the Edirol ones, they were like $200. Sound brilliant.
"wide open"? -- the battery didn't explode or anything. didn't it do exactly what we want faulty batteries to do? i.e. basically implode and retain the energy by expanding as their designed to, versus exploding all over us?
i think both companies have their flaws... but this looks an awful lot like an apple store, doesn't it?

the hardwood floors and the way the laptops are set up on the tables... just like the old Apple store design.

i was kind of hoping Microsoft would do something really original and cool. oh well.
Sort of like: Eventually everyone already HAS a Toyota. Or has had one fail and doesn't want to buy a new one.

Except that: (1) not everyone really does have an iPod (or a Toyota), you saying things doesn't make them true, and (2) even after failure many people have had a GOOD experience and will buy another iPod (or Toyota) because they realize product failure at some point is inevitable. I'm going to go on a ledge and say that both Apple and Toyota outlive you.
you guys need to get laid.
it's just a computer.
buy whichever you want and enjoy it.
really?

you should try watching a funny movie some time. you might explode. boring tech news should not make you roll on the floor with laughter.

by "found out," you mean "read the work authorization" like everyone else here?

yea, great detective work.
i'm guessing yes.
@ Aaron

touchée.
and that's how World War TWO got started.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
