@Al Capa Btw it says 'to either opt out of the class action or receive a $16 check'. That means people who decide to pursue the class action suit will receive $16??
I like the illustration!!!
@yulebellow
Isn't it revolutionary to have a reality show that is available live 24/7 ? (At least that is what I got from the tone of the article). I want to know this because everyone just seems to yawing at this news.
@ibopm No, just very very few rich developed countries 'who are into that sort of thing'. Every other country does not have millions ( forget billions ) of dollars to spend on prosthetic limbs. In fact, in most of these countries, people routinely die because they don't have access to basic healthcare.
@octoberasian Either you were being sarcastic or you are just stupid.

Either way you are just stupid.
@smib Future proof means it will last for sometime. It really has nothing to do with it being upgradable. The only difference is that Mac users can BUY a new computer when it gets outdates instead of UPGRADING it.
@Mushrooshi You are still lucky, after using my Compaq laptop for 8 months,it's battery life went from 2 hours to 2 mins. Maybe it was due to the fact that I kept the adapter plugged in most of the time.But it sucks nonetheless.
@(Unverified) Maybe, but that's not really the point of this suit. It is to assisst factory workers. There is no way that all the factory workers are going to start hitting the gym because 'they can'. And besides, the factory owners are more interested in the cost savings this thing can bring, as it might lead to cutting the workforce and/or improve efficiency. I am sure it would be a better alternative the hiring body builders to do the job of experienced factory workers or promoting body building among the existing workers ( Only the fittest workers survive, the rest are eliminated ) because not only is it practically unattainable, it would force the owners to increase the salaries of the remaining fit workers, which would ultimately lead to a loss.
I still have no idea, what on earth is twitter and how to use that site.
We actually need standardization in as many spheres of consumer electronics ( among other industries ) as possible. It would be great to have a universal laptop charger. In fact, the mobile phone standard adapter should also be embraced by other hand held devices ( PMPs , MP3 players, Digital cameras, Handheld gaming consoles, ebook readers ) as well. It would relieve the user of having to keep multiple chargers, would be economical , and of course more environment friendly as well.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
