I got my oldest an HP E317 photosmart when she was 6. Easy to use and takes good 5mp pics. She's 8 now.
Last fall she left it laying on the ground in the garden out of it's case. It sat there all fall, winter, and spring and we just found it a week ago. It was buried under snow which melted and was dumped on again by more snow multiple times. It was down poured on by April showers. I took it apart and cleaned all the dirt and grime out of it. I cleaned all the electricals with alcohol and let it dry. Put it back together and it looks and works like it was new. I'd say thats pretty durable.
Too late. I waited and waited for this because I wanted the VGA port but I couldn't take it any longer and bought the MS cable. You missed out on this sale.
Why would you say that they dropped this product. Is it just me or doesn't dropping a product usually mean they no longer make/carry said product?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
