That's a feedback loop I think?
It seems to have done the trick
Spandex pants?

But.. why?
Fuck the skulls, three wolf moon is where it's at.
Or you could not have an iPhone and just use an mp3.
And why are older people always full of complaint and disdain on public transport?

Look, I can generalise too!
You sir, must never have heard of sliced bread!
But it's a multifunction port. Which means it serves more than one purpose.

3.5mm does not allow for much flexibility.

The port allows for charging/data transfer to occur simultaneously, and also means they don't have to spoil the asthetics by adding a 3.5mm jack somewhere else.

@Chad:

How do you fit on it :-\
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
