Yeah, games should be painful to play.
Warhammer, just for all their "revolutionary ideas" being such disappointments and then proceeding to make all the same early game design mistakes that WoW made in terms of useless talent specs and available gear designed only for one spec of three. I wish the devs and the programmers all the best but when I see them struggling I've gotta wonder how they didn't see it coming.
Because Paladins can do 2 other roles, and tanks aren't fun to play. Especially in PUGs.
Unfortunately Chuck Norris appears to take himself far too seriously these days to do anything like that. Aside from the fact I don't think Blizz wants to associate themselves with his political ramblings.
What was the problem with the game fuel commercial? Maybe I didn't read the same forum threads telling me it was horrible.
Not to rain on anyone's parade but why is everyone so convinced that the new LFG tool is going to result in it being easier to find tanks? Yeah there will be more tanks and healers in the pool, but also more groups looking for them. The overall percentage of tanks and healers is not going to change. I think people need to drop their expectations a bit or it's going to be a big disappointment.

We already have cross server battlegrounds and it's not uncommon to be in an AV without a single tank out of 40 players.

Tanking, and being a tank in general needs to be made more attractive and fun if the trend of constant "LF1M tank" is going to change.

Stop referring to it so it can remain cool.
The problem is that it's nearly impossible to even get into a PUG lately unless you already have the acheivement. No way to earn your way up really.
I agree, this is a bad side effect of the achievement system. It's impossible to get in a group for anything if you don't have the achievement.. you can't get the achievement because you can't get a group. The people requiring the achievement are just lucky they had someone pull them through at some point or they wouldn't have it either.
Not only is that extremely old fashioned, it's an extremely boring and unimaginative way to look at game design.

If priests can't DPS in their DPS tree, then you're left with the question.. why have trees at all? What's the point? It will be like every other game where one path is viable and the others are a complete waste.

I'm glad that WoW is the one game currently that is willing to take on the challenge of making every tree viable. Sure they have a ways to go, but it's a lot better than 2004-2007 and any game prior.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
