The Cadet said "$18,000 seems a bit steep..."

Finalist for understatement of the year.
Huh? I don't get it. I can do the same thing with my pocketpc. But rather than using big clumsy blocks, I use a stylus.
C'mon, the suit does have merit in the looks department. If Iraqui soldiers saw a hord of these running towards them in the field, they'd drop their guns and sh*t their pants. The war would be over in a heartbeat.
Just a little info..you don't need an hd burner to burn hdv for playback on an hd player. It's been revealed on a couple of hd forums that some editing software w/ hd support will burn your hidef video intact onto a regular dvd disc and it will actually play in a hddvd or bluray player. The caveat is that the limited space on a blank dvd disc will allow roughly only about 20 mins of hd video.
I've suspected all along that this motion thing with the Wii is just a gimmick. When you get two or more people in a room swinging their arms around holding an object, eventually someone's going to get hurt or something's going to get broken. This is the exact kind of behavior that mom use to tell us - "Not in the house! Take it outside!" And to think Nintendo based their entire next gen system on this one gimmick.

"Xbox360 seems to be losing out..."

Losing out to what?? Obviously you've never experienced Xbox live, else you'd know never to make such a comment. Sony has a looooooooong way to go, my friend, before they catch up with this online gaming service. If there is one thing that has proven to be a qualified success for Microsoft, it's Xbox Live.
Hmmm, if that photo is any indication, I'd say they still have a long ways to go.
I feel obligated to say that I don't need Engadget reminding me that, yes, that is a woman in the photo as it's quite obvious that's what that is.

Just how nerdy do they think we are?
Lost In Space!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
