I can imagine this game also being one of the most traded in titles of the year. It's worth a pretty penny as a trade in and the game gets old relatively quickly.
Isn't this in bargain bins by now? I mean, the game wasn't *that* great, and got super repetitive at the end. Either economically destroy planets, or invade them. Doesn't make much of a difference either way.
Dubai doesn't make its money from oil. They make their money from commerce, tourism and other economic means. They have little to no oil. Hence why they put all their money into building fancy buildings and ski slopes in the desert etc.
@ Manthal: Yes, but its so much easier to lump all Arab countries into one giant intolerant mess than to actually do research/know what you're talking about.
Nice! I avenged the murder of my father by an Italian Templar! And I then renovated a small village, providing them with a bustling trade route and industry! Finally, I uncovered a centuries old plot by an ancient civilization!
@ the mighty thor: Thanks! I love that ad - can't for the life of me figure out why it would be banned/scrapped!
What was the ad where everyone pretended to have a fight using finger pistols and they got into a giant finger pistol shoot out? Can't check it online (I'm at work). Anyone got any ideas?
@decypherSMC : I'd like to know this too. If you could argue with Rogers/Bell etc that their rates are ridiculous compared to Wind, can you work something out.

Example: I pay $35 a month for 150/1000 daytime/evening minutes, plus $12 for voicemail/caller ID and 125 texts. Add to that ~$8 for services charge, I'm stuck with a $55 /month plan + taxes.

With Wind, unlimited province-wide calling, unlimited text and caller ID only runs me $40 a month.
When I was a wee young whippersnapper, my dad bought me Olympic Gold. To this day, it remains one of my favourite games. Mashing A and C while charging down the track in the spring or doing somersaults and pikes in the dive was one of my fondest childhood memories. I hope they can make another game that lives up to that legacy.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
