MW2 is nothing more than a console port at this point. I will not be buying it. 9 v 9 limit? You have to be joking.
I have been on both ends of this, and I always say thanks. I have also gone one step up and given away loot.

Once in EverQuest I was moving to another server and decided to retire a character, a level 30 or so ShadowKnight. So Instead of just deleting her I decided to give my gear away to lowbies, at least the good gear anyway. So instead of doing a zone-wide shout and starting a run I would run around the noobie areas looking for groups, and would ask for help in /say. Sometimes I would ask for a stack of food or drink, sometimes bone chips, and I would reward whoever helped me. I would give huge amounts (for their levels anyway) for their help too. It was like a mini GM event.

It was a fun experience and I had a blast.
It varies for me, paperwork, browsing or TV. Depending on the time of day.
You're an idiot. I expect you think they should have a backup power company in case their primary has a problem too. Mythic is Verizon's customer. How do you expect Mythic to be responsible for some jackass with a backhoe not doing their fucking job and calling the utilities to check for buried cable in a construction zone?

Mythic probably does have redundant servers and off-site storage, but if the data pipe is cut that is useless, how are they going to access it? Moron.

You want to yell at someone yell at the jackass that cut the fiber. Or maybe Verizon for not running dual fiber lines to every fucking customer they have. Or maybe Verizon should have buried them deeper, or maybe they should have hired someone to stand every half mile along the fiber routes to make sure no one cuts them. Or maybe they should have armored them.

The fact that you would blame anyone at Mythic for anything that happens outside their building speaks volumes. And every page of every volume is screaming idiot.
I used to dual-box in EQ. My main was a Shadoknight and I had a little Druid that I would use to heal and port. For those of you downplaying the practice, you shlould know that not all people are trying to farm gold or form gank groups, and we aren't all rich. I multiboxed on the same computer for a while and eventually built another box out of spares I had left over from upgrades.

Multiboxing helped out very much with groups and such. Not having to wait for a healer to log on was great. In our guild main characters had priority, so if we were on a raid and loot dropped, the alts would only get leftover loot. We would also kick the alts if somoene elses main could fill the role. For example, if a someone logged on with their cleric and wanted in to our full group, I had no problem booting my alt druid to make room for the cleric.

I play WAR right now and have no plans for Multiboxing currently, although I may try it some day.
EverQuest has this very thing. They let you buy Mercenaries that require barely any input from you. They can be used anywhere in the game world as far as I know, and you are limited to one tank or healer.
I have been waiting for a Star Trek MMO forever. I hope they get it right.

I am really looking forward to the wide-ranging exploration and the open environments. There is a lot of potential here to be completely immersed in the Star Trek universe, and I hope they get it right because we are still decades away from holodecks.

I was on the verge of canceling my WAR account when the my server was merged. This happened around the time that info was coming out about the 1.3.1 patch was announced, so O decided to stick around for a little while longer.

I am so glad I did because the game is fun again. Yes it's all RvR centric at level 40 but there is more action now with a full server and there is always something going on. That's not to say there aren't areas that can be improved, but this is a huge step in the right direction for me at least.

LOL, Care to enlighten everyone and source your statement? You seem to have no idea what you're talking about and throwing wild accusations in every direction simply do to your blind hatred.

There's no public deal between Microsoft and Hulu... otherwise you might actually hear the former bragging about locking it up as apposed to their "You can't have them all." outlook. Besides, the Hulu on the PS3 was only ever minimally watchable, and they have the right to have some control over the viewer's Hulu experience in an attempt to attain a consistent level of quality in their service.

Whether or not you personally agree with their moves to limit certain browsers from access such as that of the PS3 or the Flash-enabled Skyfire browser for Windows Mobile is irrelevant; it's not your decision to make. You can't just insist that everything which displeases you is illegal.

I think his source is the fact that Bing was a HUGE sponsor of Hulu.com a month or two back. Every video in the headline banner ad was sponsored by BIng.

I think people are waking up to the fact that if they want a new iPhone every year they better plan on blowing $500 every June.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
