Precisely. I use my 3G phone as a modem for my laptop a lot, so no iPhone for me.
Dave, I would love for you to point a Blu-Ray movie that looks better than its HD-DVD counterpart.

Also, Superman Returns=
HD DVD- Combo Disk, interactive features, and TrueHD.
Blu-Ray- .............um, does 5.1 count???
Pick me, pick me, pick me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love my HD DVD drive. I don't like the design much (it doen't match the 360 except for the color), but the quality the unit produces is very good. I also got it for $159.99 + tax at Circuit City (coupon) so that was just icing on the cake.

I also like the idea of an external drive. Why?? 1. because it can be used with different devices (another 360 or PC). 2. Most importantly, has anyone thought about the benefits of being able to use the internal DVD drive just to play games while the external does the DVD and HD DVD movies. Less wear an tear on the internal!!!! Duh!!!!!
Ever think it could be a woman?????
I go with the Zune/Xbox 360 idea. I'm already streaming my WMV content (converting everything I have over with WMV9 codec). I would not be shocked if at least 480p movies become available through the Zune marketplace. That would be sweet!!!!!!
3, but more if it included friends on Live, lol.....
Wait, wait, wait.............

The PS3's wireless capability is limited to 802.11b?????????

Doesn't 802.11b have the slowest transfer rate of all the wireless options???

I'll stick to my CAT 6 cable, thank you very much.
I got this phone unlocked from Newegg about a month ago (using Cingular network). I can't stop playing with this thing, it's great. FYI- the 4GB pro duo works just fine =)

Did they saw what features the phone will come with??? I'm curious if they took any out from the unlocked version.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
