Wow, that has got to be the cheapest piece of Wadia equipment I have ever seen.
This article, prophesizing the collapse of the US auto sales, following the collapse of the of US mortgage industry, CLEARLY does NOT understand what happened in the mortgage industry.
The mortgage industry collapsed because the investors in the mortgage pools, one day realized that they couldn't validate what the underlying value was of the assets that secured the mortgage. Pitch and moan all you want, but determining that value of 10,000 used Ford F150 pickup tracks, regardless of options, is a hell of a lot easier then determining the value of 10's of thousands of real estate assets, each all different and each with their own taxes, leans, etc...

So, I think this article is entirely off base. This as the lending standards within the auto industry never reached the level of absurdity, that once dominated the mortgage industry. Add to this the relative ease in which creditors can seize automotive assets vs. evictions and recognize their TOTAL exposure to a market. Then finally, domestic auto manufacturing has slowed, regardless of what you want to say and global auto demand is still accelerating, picking up the slack in demand from many of the other foreign manufacturers.
My Gallardo has been problem free (6 speed), but to your point, less reliable then a GT3. As for the Beo, it is definitly more about a balance of sound and design, then it is about rack bottom prices and terrible customer service.

As for bashing B&O, they are the creators of the ICE digital amp, likely one of the more important additions to the amp technology in recent years.

However when you go into their website, imedock doesn't support the Porsche Cayenne, yet they use it as their demo!!
Well, it's a start. Lets hope for a N400R. The R being the one that adds a roll cage, one piece light weight seats, removes sound insulation and swaps out glass for poly all in an effort to lower weight! Now that would be a bad a$$ AM.
Becuase its in the USA, the CSL model will likely be a joke. Easy ways to loose weight, kill a sunroof, put in manual CF seats (no thorax airbag sensor), plexiglass rear/side rear windows. That alone could get you 6% weight reduction and all of it won't happen in the USA. The sunroof as the M3 gold chain wearing drivers just won't have it and the latter two, because the Fed Gov't won't let you have it.... Cheaper to buy an M3 and make your own CSL edition... ;-0
Not crazy at all. When your paying $450-$700 a month (4,800-8,400 a year) to park a car, it's not crazy at all. Add to the fact that you have to pay 10% or 19% tax on monthly parking (resident, non resident) on top. Then, I assume you could likely get a interest exp benefit on your Fed taxes (if tied in with your condo)!

Wait, where are these parking spaces?
Well, when you go to Montreal, then you will understand. I stand by my original statement, not F1 Quality. If you have never been to an F1 race outside the US, you really don't have an argument. Ferrari does this at most F1 races, it makes the owners feel good and its good for the brand. Trust me, the Ferrari event won't go away, that FITS with F1, Indi doesn't.

I would love an F1 race in NY, oh that would be sweet!
YES! Indy SUCKS! The race should be in a location someone would actually WANT to visit. The town of Indi also is very uncharacteristic of a town fit to host a F1 race - just doesn't live up to the image.

New York, Las Vegas, Miami, ALL much better places. I suspect that NY will say no and LV will take too many years to prepare....
Macau is like a dirty Vegas. From what I can tell, the Playboy mansion would need to be pretty much a brothel to really get noticed in Macau....
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
