Pirate Bay owners announce give-and-take model, proclaim "filesharers are our best friends" {Engadget}
Jul 20th 2009 1:11AM They only bought a COPY of thepiratebay, and the domain name. I suppose others can buy a copy too. Or maybe TPB guys launches thepiratebay2.org with the same software and database ;)
HP Pavilion dv6t gets reviewed: nice for the price, but full of crapware {Engadget}
May 2nd 2009 2:46PM All of us at work hates the pavilion dv machines. We are still running XP and we hate when people come with nonstandard (the standard beeing the elitebooks) machines.... pavilion has so much crap on them you have to reinstall - and XP drivers are non existant on HP's page... so you'll have to Google a lot.
Tesla's Roadster rolls 241 miles on single charge, annoys petrol pumps {Engadget}
Apr 13th 2009 6:17AM The Model S will be very affordable here in Norway. Costing less than a Toyota Avensis. Eletric cars are not taxed here, get free passes on toll roads, can park at the entrance at IKEA and other larger stores and can drive in bus/taxi lanes :)
I want one! There are quite a few electric car workshops here. Many people have bought extra eletric peugots (modded 106s) just to use the bus/taxi lane to work. I hope Obama grants Tesla money/a cheap loan so they can start manufacturing and hopefully get the cars on the road before 2011.

Jan 17th 2009 5:34PM Doesn't take credit/debit cards. Doesn't accept online payment systems. Does not play jingles while vending. Slow (not Japanese ones though). Do not have a network connection so they may report when empty. Not cold enough. Not ecofriendly. I have a lot of things on my wishlist.

Sep 26th 2008 1:01PM David: The cost would be the same in some countries where the fees are only added to gasoline/gas powered vehicles. The Tesla is 100% electric. Fees on some cars are 50% here in Norway.
Sony brings 1080p BRAVIA VPL-VW80 SXRD projector to Europe {Engadget}
Sep 12th 2008 2:12AM Very nice, I have been wanting one of those VPL-VW projectors to replace my aging SP4805. My budget is around $3500, but I'm guessing thos will be a tad more than that. Gotta start saving up :)
Sprint's HTC Touch Diamond: September 14 for $249.99. Honest. {Engadget}
Sep 4th 2008 5:45PM Why the China look and not the European look? The European looks sharper (and has the take/hang up buttons on top, instead of bottom)
Microsoft patents Page Up / Page Down functionality, April 1st seen lingering in the distance {Engadget}
Sep 2nd 2008 3:17PM The US patent system is not good, but I think joe is on to something. I hate when I press page down in a PDF or XPS document and only get one screen down, not page.
