Movielink to allow movie transfers to DVDs? {Engadget}

Jul 17th 2006 11:32PM I agree with falcom. I'd also like to see them trying harder to get into living rooms via existing devices: iPod plugged into TV, Xbox360/Ps3/Wii streaming?

Oh, and bring it to Australia. We dont have anything like it yet.

Sony shows off the real PS3 controller {Engadget}

May 8th 2006 11:25PM Sad fact is though, the PS3 will be a success. I can hardly sleep looking forward to the Wii. But truth is that the PS3 will still probably have the most games tailored specifically for my demographic.

Sony shows off the real PS3 controller {Engadget}

May 8th 2006 11:21PM Its amazing how sony continues to get lamer with each announcment. I'd like to see a media boycott on them for lack of innovation. It is almost as bad as their 'ipod killers'. I just hope the general public doesn't get swindled into thinking this controller provide anything close to the Wii controller.

Shiro AS, the soccer ball MP3 player {Engadget}

Feb 7th 2006 7:33PM I'd love to see it as an ACTUAL soccer ball. So it would pump out the tunes while you kick it around. Maybe you could even enhance it to respond to the frequency and power of the kicks.

Monday Morning Poll: Why Aren't You Going to the Movies? {Cinematical}

Jun 21st 2005 1:26AM Although I agree, it is strange that one of the most common reasons people are talking about is cost, especially when compared to watching the DVD at home. A basic home theatre system costs about $AUD3000 + $30/DVD. If you went to the movies 12 times per year, over 5 years @ $30/trip thats only $1800. Realistically, if you can afford a home theatre (and lots of people these days can afford special rooms for these) you can probably afford to movie money. But the product has to be good enough. At home you dont have people talking, you dont have to pay a fortune on snacks, you dont have queues, you dont have to stick to schedules and you wont get stuck in horrible seating if you are late (like right at the front). If cinema's just concentrate back on providing a quality experience to people (like gold class in Austrlia where they have awesome screens, recliner chairs, waiters and ushers to keep people quiet) I think we'll all come back. We all still like movies. Think of it like cooking and eating at home, or going to a restraunt.
