Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet but 4% of 4gb in 2 hours comes out to about 178kbps.. Basically three times as fast as a 57k modem..
Edison Carter coming at you live and direct from network 23..
I believe the correct terminology is "WASD". Not like I'm about to play games on this thing, but for correctness..
Is there really a difference between sequential and random read/write speeds on an SSD?
I'm waiting for someone to document their mod where they actually replace the pins in the neck and the contacts in the body with solid wires, and then epoxy the neck to the body. Then they can install a short duration one-shot on the strum bar to fix the double-pick problem.. Either that or take the electronics from the GH3 guitar and stuff them into a GH2 guitar..

hmm maybe you should just return it, unless you have an electrical engineering degree.
Yeah - I thought this was supposed to be a tech site?? If you have no idea what a stream processor is, then maybe someone else should handle writing PC hardware news for one of the leading new technology info sites on the internet. Putting a jessica simpson "uh... what is a stream processor" makes this place seem to have uneducated people writing for it. Not that you should automatically have detailed knowledge of every piece of gear out there, but come on, go to wikipedia, type in "stream processor", spend 5 minutes learning what it is, then write the article.

Also, the first sentence seems to imply that the card isn't all that great, when in actuality you are getting about 90% or more of the performance of the very fastest $500 video cards available for less than $250. It's quite a big deal in the video card world, this is a great card at a great price.
I've been playing a lot of B.C.'s Quest for Tires on my C=64c
Raid 1 with 5 or 6 drives? I guess if you like wasting your money on 3 extra drives to get half the raw storage, that's a fantastic idea. No RAID 5, no sale.
I got a squeezebox for my birthday and it's great - I have engadget on the RSS news ticker! This would be perfect to round out the video side of my streaming media capability.
10. steelpad 5L professional gaming mouse pad
My roommate and I play Battlefield 2 all the time, but he's always going out and buying new hardware to be better than me. He went out and bought an SLI system with that stupid RAM that has LEDs on it, and this moronic gamer keypad that just has WASD and a few other keys on it, in addition to the Saitex X52 giant joystick and throttle control. If I win this at least I'll have a better mouse pad then him.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
