The Gamestop promo in Spain was a joke, you were supposed to bring in a PS2 plus 5 games, but they would not tell you which games would qualify for the promo beforehand. Reports overe here suggest this was almost a scam designed to bring in cheap 2nd hand games and prey on the unsuspecting kid who would end up coughing up much more dough for his PS3.

That said, you can get today an 80Gb PS3 + Infamous for 299€ until august 31st at a big retailer, so yeah, something is happening definitely.
And for the PC crowd, there's always the Ctrl-Esc cufflinks:

Please... More like: "Web 3.0, a definition suited to my trying to sell mahalo.com..." or somehting like that.

Congrats for the noise, though, it should make up for the declining page views in mahalo.com...

Talk about being desperate... HD-DVD is dead, let's move on...
Some guys have been thinking about this for a while here in Spain. Check out http://www.ps3grid.net/

More info, I guess, after march 23rd... 8-)
Battery life, big phone, price, cingular only...

Yeah, whatever... every single commenter here knows they will sell like hotcakes.

The segment has been redefined, and Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, Palm, Blackberry are all scrambling as we read this to assess how this impacts them.
Probably nothing to do with this, but this morning Google thinks I should be seeing it in french, too.

I'm in Spain, going through a UK proxy, and if I go to google.com I get a 'Google Francais' logo... :)
The first player *will* be a dud, as the previous poster commented.

However, that's how MS works: v1 of most of their products is there just to get in the market, and get first buyers to start paying for the v2 R&D costs.

I'm pretty sure v2 of the Zune is already well into development...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
