Ain't that the freakin' truth. I'm with Telus right now and I'm craving the Hero badly, but their plans START at $50/month and I pay about $25/month now for a really good plan. I simply can't justify the 100% increase in cost.
Who's the random guy in the still picture?
@DonLivingston

If it ain't broke...
For those who have no idea what the reference *should* be, it's "your John Hancock".
@Charles Honce

I don't disagree, but the fonts DEFINITELY need to go back to sans-serif fonts.
My suggestion would be the Acer T230H BMIDH model. I've got one on display at work and it looks really nice so long as you don't mind the glossy finish. Keep in mind, however, that touchscreen monitors attract fingerprints like no other, and you're going to have to fight to keep it clean ;-)
I got all the way down here and thought I was alone in noticing that :P
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
