Ah, I love my iPhone, but god it's good to have some market diversity.
@Matt:
I'm a 15 year old an I take offence to that. Just because I like Apple products doesn't mean I'm stupid enough to vote the iMac, Cinema Display or Time Capsule as winners of their field. That being said, it seems that many of the categories were unnecessary to begin with, and perhaps all that was needed was 'Gadget of the year', 'Runner Up' and and most anticipated for 2009.
I thought they'd already been $100 for ages.
The only thing that could impress me is if they released a jailbroken version with online video call support. Sure, it would be a tad annoying only being able to have a one way video chat [them see you or you see them] but nonetheless a very welcome feature.
I wouldn't.
My god, that is so damn expensive converted to Australian dollars. A 16gb off contract here costs roughly $800 Australian, they're selling them for roughly $1, 010.00 Australian. Ouch. I never really saw the appeal in credit. Credit only lasts a month, so you're gonna have to buy it once a month if you want to make a call any time, which is pretty much the same as a contract. If the plan gives you what you want for a reasonable price, I'm on a $39/month plan with 500mb and 100 free texts, then what's the point in having it off plan.
Woah, yeah Microsoft better watch out, next thing you know, Apple (1% of computer share) will be taking over PCs.
Microsoft better approach this fiercely.
Yawn. To all his own and his own to all.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
