Perfect stocking stuffer for the hobo in your life.
I actually proposed to my wife on this hike.

She went to Zion National Park with some friends on a girl-cation. I had already arranged with them to meet me at the top of Angel's Landing at about 9AM, I climbed the thing at sunrise and sat up there just doodling on my iPhone. She was so surprised when I was sitting there in my nicest suit, on one knee, with the ring in my hand.

I picked this location because it's one of the most beautiful in Utah, and I always call her my angel.
@Strato

I completely disagree, the mapping functionality of the iPhone was most definitely one of the primary selling points for me and many others who purchased the product. Will you say anything when ads are played before AT&T will connect a phonecall?

There is such thing as core functionality, and this fight between Ma Apple and Pa Google is becoming beyond irksome.

THINK OF THE CHILDREN!
This was an excellent post. I knew almost nothing about the ottoman empire and this inspired me to check out some histories of the empire.
I'm sorry, but this sounds like a hellovalot o' fun. Even I could ignore the blatant commercializing and merchendising if the stuff is genuinely cool. The opportunity for whimsical street characters is endless, you can go down diagon ally for the scary rides and shops.

I think I could get into this if the production value is high enough.
This broke tethering in the Betas, just FYI

Because of this, I will not upgrade, I bought that data and I'll use it how I want.
ipoop,

Your name is very appropriate, it's rare to have someone so in touch with their true character.

I think you are confused about the difference between DisplayLink and DisplayPort. DisplayLink is the USB display driver/chipset combo while DisplayPort is the HDMI Competitor.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
