Bill Clinton launched a program that helped Automakers develop an 80 MPG car, they actually achieved that goal, and at that time Cowboy came into office. He killed the program and Automakers were glad he did.

So we really do not need any new ideas, we had a working engine that maybe needed some refinement.

Everyone wants to see as many brands as possible, but i am wondering why GM doesn't just kill Saab, so there's less competition. I doubt they will get anything in return for it, they will most likely will have to put money somewhere for the dealers.

I agree with you on one hand, but these days if you have a smart phone you pretty much have a GPS already.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
