You will have to take it to the nearest Apple store as far as I know. The same thing happened to my Macbook, but I was in day 87 of 90 of my free phone support. Your battery is just toast, it happens, and you'll just need a new one unfortunately.
I don't really see a split screen coming really. The AI in the game is based all about catch up. If you're winning really well, the AI will do really well and catch up to you. If you're doing horrible, they will be slow and you can still win. If they made it split screen, it would take away from the catch up of the game, essentially taking half the fun of the game away. The best part of Motorstorm is when you're driving and you've got 10 other cars crashing all around you trying to get first place too. If they add split screen, I feel they'll take that feeling away.
I'm the guy who had the bad luck with the systems. I now have a working system though, which is a good thing. People say the same sound happens during folding@home for some people, but I never tested that to see if it was the same noise. This noise isnt anything you would ever live with, it's just like that mosquito ringer sound that's supposed to make kids run away from businesses etc.

I tried loads of different things to make it work without a sound, but to no avail, it was the hardware and nothing more. And yes, it appeared to be a heat thing. Whenever the system warmed up, it was when the sound would occur.
I'm the unlucky guy who had to deal with these systems that were loud. Trust me, it's not a normal noise the system makes.

It wasn't until I got my 4th system from a different store that everything worked fine. The PS3 in general though is quieter than the 360, which is a good thing. That recording was done with my macbook microphone too, so I couldnt even truly do the sound justice, it's much worse.
Sounds good!

Must say I am impressed you guys are doing a fair bit of information on Canadian phones as of late. I appreciate it.
Looks, great......other than the fact that everything is brown. Seriously, what is up with that? Even the greens and silvers look brown. Did they just decided the game needed more brown and put a brown filter on everything? Shame really. I'll still get it though!
The DSX isn't very good at all. It was fine if it was the only choice, but it's not. R4DS does the same thing at a much lower cost, you just have to supply the MicroSD cards. No problems there.

This was posted on Gizmodo and Engadget, which makes me think that it was just paid advertising for DSX. It's not likely both websites would really want to post about this.
I think it's fantastic they won, and I'm sure we'd all wouldnt know what to say once we one something like that, so we'd all sound a little stupid. Thing is, a lot of people are brought up with swear words as descriptive words these days. ("This is fucking awesome") that sort of thing. It just happens, not everyone may like it, but it does. I personally dont like it at all, but I can't do anything about it. Those guys were young, let them enjoy saying whatever they want. You know when they're older and possibly businessmen or whatever they wont be saying "fucking awesome dude" when they close a deal or whatever. It's just your youth. When you were growing up, your elders thought you sounded stupid too, and the same thing will happen when those kids get older, they will think teenagers sound stupid.
To be fair, let's not just jump to conclusions here. First off, the computer should never catch fire, no matter if its a Mac of PC. Secondly, we don't know if the computer was left open, so it would stay on, or if it was closed in sleep mode. If it was left open, and still on, then it was a bad move by the user to leave it near magazines, or anything else that could stop it from getting air.

When it all boils down though, no ones computer should ever catch fire.
Blast Corps would be great too, especially with physic engines too.

But if and when Killer Instinct 3 comes out, or hell even Killer Instinct 1 for XBLA, I would crap my pants. I've been dying to play KI for a long time. I used to be an arcade junkie with that game.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
