Combine this with an xbox and you might have a winner :p
That would be the '!'
The PS3 (and xbox 360 too) only goes upto 720p (or 1080i, which is the same clarity, pretty idiotic).
Or you can just split it up, use an low-cost low-power consuming passively cooled minipc to download your torrents (and share them on the network) and your general computer/media-player/ps3/xbox to put them on the screen.

Even cheaper and no need for an extra box at the screen.
So, what is the cost of this beauty?
China fixed that problem for less than $4, including shipping!

Just like this one: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.19392

That's been around for a while, but maybe the support will be better now that more products are coming around.
I'm still waiting for a new version of the TripleHeadToGo http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/gxm/ to use my 4800x1200 space for games! :-p
You'd be talking about Raid 1 instead of Raid 0 in your first example :-)
Raid 0 has 0 redundancy.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
