exactly...if your high end workstation card doesn't need 3.0, why would you upgrade your mobo to one with 3.0 in the first place?
the system works on mobo's for cpu slots and ram types, why wouldn't they just manufacture boards with just 3.0 and boards with just 2.0? if you're buying a whole new mobo with 3.0 specs...then you'd buy a card with 3.0 specs to go with it, regardless of backwards compatibility
"most of the wiis fanbase is not gamers" -most accurate opinion on the page
and if you want the perfect OS, boot up gentoo and compile it yourself, otherwise don't complain or we can call you lazy.
didn't even read the article, if you're bsod that often, it just means you're not taking care of your machine. if your mac kernel panic'd and you lost your work i hardly doubt you'd have thought to write this article.

xp user, 3 bsod's in 9 years of owning my own computer, and they were all the fault of the integrated graphics on my old dell dimension.
xp can run on a machine with as little as 8mhz of processing power. which is irrelevant anyway since it isn't an x86 processor
so itunes supporting something gives it credibility? Itunes mostly uses AAC, but i don't exactly see people calling their ipods "AAC players".
sony is the mac clone of the pc manufacturer world, only idiots buy them and you're paying mostly for the brand + shenanigans.
then again it might have some uses for family gatherings or really anything where someone isn't going to steal the camera.
this has almost no demographic, if you own one you probably don't go to many parties, and if you're at the good parties where everyone's too drunk to be camera shy...if you have money left after paying for "party goods" you're probably in the former category.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
