I've been wanting a red nano.

If it weren't for the fact that I already wanted a red nano, though, I doubt that the $10 to charity would sway me from a different DAP. Might make me consider a red nano instead of, say, a black nano.

Nonetheless, good publicity for Apple. $10 is a bit weak, but I'm happy to see potential millions of dollars going towards a good cause.
Zoolander, anyone?

I think that the laptop is a good idea. It's definitely not the thing for everyone, and not for me either - I like to work off my battery a lot.

But with laptops getting more powerful, many people do just use laptops as desktop replacements, to have everything in one package. Having it bundled up is nice, since outlets are still available if you want to sit down to work at a Starbucks. And, for people in college, a computer may get moved in and out 8 or more times a year. (Assuming you want your computer with you over breaks.) It is nice not having to pack up a moniter and a heavy desktop.
#21 Blue LED binary clock

I don't even know how to read a binary clock. But I hope that being in the presence of one will change that.

Worst comes to worst, it's shiny, and I like that.
This is never going to happen.

And even if it did, what would they do with the extra real estate? It would have to be another key, because shifting the qwerty keys in any manner is going to piss off the touch-typists.

Besides, who'd hit the caps lock key on accident? You'd have to have morbidly obese sausages of fingers.
I traditionally go with playstations, as I'm addicted to the FF series. But with the Wii's sweet price point and no subscription fees, I think Nintendo has won me over.
I think that the laptop is a bit high-priced, even taking into account that it's an ultraportable, but it's not unreasonable. Maybe there's a small premium for color, but that's besides the point - the kind of person who uses this sort of laptop - do they really want to sport bright pink?
there are mp3 players with features equal or better to the ipod at similar prices, and they aren't "ipod killers" at all.

now MS is bringing out something with less features at the same price as the world's dominant mp3 player.

i'm going to say... no.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
