Seems to have gone straight over sweet greggo's dear head... this might work.
They're not also planning to cure old age, road accidents or famine. People will still die.
Bootcamp was a response to what a lot of people were already doing: booting a popular OS on standardized, open, unlocked hardware.

Apple saw this happening, knew they could do dick all about it, and spun it that it was their idea.. and you bought into their hype.

The iPhone isn't exactly a standardized platform.
No, really not even remotely. For so many reasons.
But having a dedicated caps lock is really unnecessary. I know I don't use the caps lock on my desktop (at least not for caps). If I had caps lock on my phone I'd recent it taking up useful space. Better to move the tab key down and make the key pad narrower IMO.

I like this layout.
Can't the comment system hide replies to spam than gets removed? Now I look like I'm talking to my self :(
Yeah, I need a new system now.. but you say there _might_ be a better CPU out in "couple of years." No shit.

Stop spamming us your useless web site you tool.
I'm sure if carriers started ripping them out of the installed ROM, Google would throw the standard apps up on their market place for download. More eyes on their ads!
This really isn't going to encourage "users" to do anything. It will only be available for Ultimate, Professional and Enterprise. If you're shelling out for one of these.. chances are you know what you're doing and will avoid legacy.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
