Sprint has improved their service from whenever the last time you used them if you ever used them.

That comment just goes to show your ignorance to what Sprint has done and the measures they have taken to improving their company. Public opinion is not high but the previous excuses of 'poor customer service' are no longer a concern.

Can't deny the cheap prices either.

BTW does Apple not realize with backwards compatibility the Pre has over 30,000 apps just from the original Palm OS alone? Thats one of the features I wouldn't try to show off. They do have a nice store, but no where near the amount of apps that the Pre has and that have been updated since the birth of the Palm OS
Does anyone remember everyone crying that they had to switch from Win 98/2000 to XP? It happens with every OS :D. Who would have thought then that people would want to stick with XP?
The "it won't break" aspect is nice but there are WAY too many negative working with these.

The guys on the Aircrafts don't like them and neither do the guys setting them up (me). Hopefully the keyboard is a little better, it was terrible for typing anything.

Dell has come out with an alternative, its basically a 'tough' D630. While they aren't great (smart card reader requires card to go 98% of the way in). Full size keyboard and has same features as ToughBooks.

One thing we've had a problem with both of these models is that the card readers seem to overheat. Other than that, the Dell model is VERY nice. Wish I could say same for toughbook. I was excited to get to mess with the ToughBooks when they came in but they are nothing but problems.
@Flashpoint

They can't track a console/laptop by the IP address because as soon as it leaves your possession, its going to take on a new IP address.

The only thing permanent on something that connects to the internet is the MAC which would be impossible to find even if you found it in your router's logs.

There are some laptops that if stolen you can relocate them via GPS and other technologies.
The whole point of these lawsuits is to protect the brand name. They would be hard pressed to prove the trademark if they didn't defend it. This happens all the time and they aren't picking on the Golf place just to be the big corporate company taking money from others.

And no I don't work for monster and if I am incorrect please tell me as I am not a lawyer lol
I hear that they're coming out with the new Centro!!! In Bronze!!!111!!!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
