Allowing people to use a much more common card format, and therefore expanding your userbase and appealing to more people? What a neat idea!

This is a step in the right direction.
he's a good-looking chap
oh yeah, the phone too. :P
Is there any site where I can get stats on battery life for specific notebooks? I'd imagine an 8-cell battery for this would last a lot shorter than it would doing the equivalent activity on an 8-cell battery on say, an EEE 1001
What? No Zip 100 slot??

also, ION or ION2

$600 or lower
It looks good, not really "sexy" per se.. looks sleeker than most netbooks, I guess, but netbooks in general look pretty cool. A design point they all have in common, though, is that they're really cute.
I wonder what aspect ratio it's running.

For that form factor, it better have a 32nm i9, 24GB of DDR3-2000, and dual GTX395s in SLI (yes, I know, not even out yet, and wouldn't fit, but it's nice to dream)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
