Thanks for the opportunity, Engadget!
First year of college... would love all this stuff!

Thanks Engadget!
Well, besides this post ;-), my favorite Engadget posts have always been the coverage of CES.

Happy Birthday, Engadget!
I was thinking the same thing. I use Cox too, and I for one can attest that it is a huge company. It's third in subscribers behind Comcast and Time Warner Cable... definitely not an upstart
That's not the real PS3 logo font...if you look at the real one, the line in the A doesn't go out to the sides like it does in that picture. Also, it calls the Wii controller the Wiimote, which to my knowledge is not the official name. And I think that the logo for "Nintendo" in Nintendo Wii is the same one as the DS... and the Wii is not called the Nintendo Wii, just Wii...

it's fake...

"damn it, tell me his name! I live in Va Beach"

ahhhhh...me too! man, I gotta find this guy lol
Heh, well if you sign up for the newsletter, they send you a wallpaper...and if you open that up in notepad/wordpad, you can see that it was made in Photoshop on...a Mac. Lol...anyway, I love it, I just kinda wish the player itself looked a little different. It's not bad, but I was just expecting something maybe a little cleaner. I can't really explain it. Can't wait until November(?) though!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
