The producers of Airplane bought the rights to Zero Hour

When Jobs launched the iPhone and the bluetooth headset, he said that there would be other accessories. A bluetooth gps dongle is not out of the question, perhaps integrated into google maps. There is always the outside chance that Apple may actually improve .mac and enable some sort of gps photo tagging for blogging. AGPS (assisted, by phone mast location) would be ideal, but slightly more complicated, less complicated for Apple with its arrangement with AT&T/Cingular.

I wonder if they have got round the problems they had in the 70's: night-time, clouds, range and rercharge time. They called the plane they used as a test-bed the Millenium Falcon.

AppleWorks first came out on the Apple II/III before Claris and ClarisWorks

About 10 years ago I used to have a Powerbook 1400 which came with a clear faceplate for the lid, enabling you to print out your own picture from a ClarisWorks template. At one point it was mooted that you would be able to buy third party accessories like solar panels but Apple had a patent for it and nobody seemed that interested.
