@DirtyVegas
I seem to remember Engadget branding that one 'offensive' when it originally posted about it...

I still don't get why.
Oh my.
Shame I have a Mac. Mac's do games... right? ...RIGHT?!

*sobs*
This would be ace for viewing 3D CAD objects.
It's a shame that most of the CAD programs I need run on Windows if Apple implement this... unless Rhino 3D & Solidworks jump ship to OSX (in anything other than Beta).
@Wwhat

Wow, dude. Who shat in your cornflakes?
@MatthewJ As far as I can tell, Apple and Safari are a different kettle of fish. If you don't want Safari on your system, it's possible to trash it and just use Chrome, or FF.

The problem stemmed from not being able to remove IE, just install other options... as far as I can tell.

Now, Mobile Safari on the iPhone, well- watch your back kids!
Incidentally, are their other browsers for non Jailbroken iPhones?
This is epic.
And, you can use it with gloves!
@Sheppard

Oh, you appear to be lost sir. This is Engadget, for gadgets.
For Xenophobic or nonsensical whinging you need the 'Have Your Say' forum on the BBC news website:

Happy to be of service sir.
Ok, yesterday you posted a cool XBox case mod.
I know there wasn't actually an XBox in there... but this is just not in the same league.
Dear Apple,

Please release this soon, to stop all of this crazy speculation.
Also, please allow multi-tasking. Oh, and copy & paste; and get Adobe to write a version of Photoshop for it. Or Get AutoDesk to do a copy of Sketchbook Pro for it (and not a port of the cut down iPhone version).

Yours sincerely,
The internet.
Somehow, I think I shan't ever hear about this pen ever again.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
