Very nice! Now that looks Apple like.
"The old version simply showed one screenshot and required clicking on the picture to move to the next screen image."

That's simply not true. The old version had a back and forward button below the picture and you clicked on one to navigate. I thought it was much more elegant than the new image version and was easy to figure out. The new image version just looks cluttered which is very un-Apple like.
I believe GUID is the default in SL. It was the default when I was making my Windows 7 boot drive.
@htowngator

That doesn't surprise me since the freq. and tech Verizon is using require less towers which have a farther reach. Try going overseas however and you'll have no bars ... unless you're using one of the few CDMA/GSM "world phones."

I don't like any of the cell companies personally as they all have major drawbacks. It's simply a case of choosing the best of the worst based on what matters the most to you. In this case it's the major discount I have with at&t, the fact that I have great 3G coverage in my area and they have the iPhone (which isn't branded to high heaven ... I really, really HATE that).
@3dpenguin

When you have a family emergency and suddenly start needing to use the cellphone A LOT more then it's very handy. I've been saved by rollover many times. However, they do need to add more plans instead of only offering a few plans with huge jumps in minutes.

I also don't think they're being dishonest here. Who cares what minutes you're using as long as they aren't charging you extra for going over your monthly rate. I've got no problem with that.
It sounds like an "about time" moment but so far I've got nothing but problems. At first it didn't sync anything at all. I turned it off for a few days and have recently turned it back on. Now all it does it sync the inbox with a copy of all the emails I've received in the past day even though I've since deleted them. To make matters worse, it doesn't seem to push at all for me. So far it's completely useless. IMAP is faster and syncs correctly with all my devices. Until Google can handle the demand and/or get this working correctly I'm not using this implementation.
I currently use Thngs for the iPhone but with a 1yr old son I don't have much money for Things for the Mac.
All I know is that printing more money isn't going to strengthen the economy. Maybe we should do what Pres. Hoover (I think) did during the Great Depression. Put people to work fixing the existing infrastructure of the US (roads, bridges, actual Broadband [not this 768kbps garbage]!). Giving businesses and people money for doing nothing is teaching us that we don't need to work. That definitely won't strengthen the economy.
I don't understand why companies keep thinking up these moronic DRM schemes. It does absolutely NOTHING to protect their copyrights. The people who pirate all this stuff always break the copy protection scheme anyway (sometimes before it's officially used). It just makes consumers lives miserable.
Hahaha! That's the funniest thing I've read online in quite some time. My son just stared at me like I was nuts because I was laughing uncontrollably. Good stuff.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
