@ Fargus

Less included? What, like a Blu-ray player (for starters)?
@John

The 32 month figures for each are almost exactly 23 million PS3s and 20 million 360s. The only thing that clouds the water slightly is that Xbox is doing much better in the US, but the PS3 is doing better everywhere else. FYI, at the same point in its life, the Wii was on about 52m units.

These figs are all according to VGChartz.com.

I replaced my DSC T1 with the T70 (just the same as the T90 sut SD video). I love it and chose that over the bigger, more expensive T700 because in part because it lacks the 8gb internal memory the more expensive one had. When it has memeory built in, it will automatically record to that and only record to a card once the camera mamoey is full. This would annoy me though as I like to just take my card out and stick it in my computer/PS3. The T700/T900 also look like the lense covers would get caught a lot more easily on clothing and get bent. I just keep mine in my trouser pocket so this is an issue for me.

If I had to buy another camera now, I'd either get the T90, or the waterproof one from panasonic. This is still a little chunky though so maybe I'd wait for Pannie's 2nd gen wtaerproof cameras.
First they take out backward compatibility from the PS3, now they strip out current compatibility from the PSP. I don't know why anyone who already has a PSP would buy this - unless Sony gives us an official way to transfer our UMD librarys to memory stick for free. Then I'd consider it.
It's also worth considering that the 360 had a 12 month / 10 million console headstart. That means that 50m out of the last 90m consoles sold (56%) have been Wiis. Mine is gathering as much dust as the next person's, but it's pretty damn impressive however you want to look at it - especially considering the performance of the GameCube.
In Craw's defense, he did get his second "it's" correct.
Looks like they're using a ZX81 keypad.
My advice for fixing the economy? Involuntary euthanasia for anyone over the age of 65 (with the exception of my parents of course. Oh, and my wife's I guess).
Just what I was thinking. I thought I'd heard they were making about $5 per console originally. If their costs have now fallen by 45%, they now cost approx $134.75 to make, leaving a margin of over $110. This a 2100% increase in margin, not (a proportional) 45%.
I'm still unsure about the numbering on the Grand Theft Auto series. Is the current GTA number four because it's the fourth one in 3D on vaguely next gen consoles, or is it recognising that GTA1 and GTA2 were on the PS1, GTA3 on the PS2 and is considering Vice City and San Andreas to essentially be GTA 3.1 and GTA 3.2. I guess I'll find out the answer to my question when GTA5 comes out.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
