Back in my day, Engadget didn't have a "hero module" or "persistent logins." AND ME LIKED IT!

Loving the redesign...it looks fantastic!
Is everyone daft?

"cutting the price of the professional model TH-103PF10UK by $20,000 to a mere $50,000"

50,000 > 20,000

Yes, I am sure it is a typo. But how do so many comments get posted without anyone knowing this.

Engadget fail. Reader fail.
I agree. I'm digging the new TNG theme for bad economic news. I don't know if it makes any sense, but I dig it nonetheless.
my gut says "epic fail."

i do not need to replace my glasses, bookmarks or my USB storage. nor am i attempting to consolidate all three.
I hate to admit it, but I felt the same when when Monkey Ward closed. I got my original Packard Bell at "Electric Avenue".
@Jay Voorhees: I can't disagree with you more. Fry's has a much wider selection and far lower prices when it comes to tech gear than any of the big box retailers. And what the hell are you talking about when you say "refurbished"? The vast majority of their gear is new.

Have you ever actually been to Fry's?
Really? So you're saying that it is bad for other companies to try to compete with Apple? Because where I come from, competition is considered a good thing.
Is it me, or does it seem odd that amid an economic crisis, and an energy crisis in the states, Coke is rolling out these new vending machines. Giant touchscreens running 24/7 seem like a frivolous waste of energy...innovation that we don't need.
God bless American excess!
Couldn't Obama at least pretend to smile?

Why so serious?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
