I would have moved to BD but not with the cost of the discs, so for now no intentions, I am sure by the time I upgrade VOD will be my next move, I would prefer this method now for convenience more than anything else.
I love my Zune, moved away from my iPod a long time back, I love the design, ease of use and the online store is fantastic, it features a lot of dance and indy music you cannot find on iTunes A+
Because most of us would never dream of going anywhere near close to 250GB, christ I would hate to see you live in other parts of the world that don't offer unlimited plans with any provider, in those countries 250GB is not available even if you wanted to pay for it.
Yeah count me in as one that would snap one up in a flash also, this I don't understand.
what a rip off, nothing to see here, move along...
I own a BD player and don't own a single disc, I have not intention of buying them at current prices, I also have no interest in buying old movies released on BD (which are the cheaper ones) rentals only for me.
Crash and BURN Sony, you evil bastards!
Because clearly most don't agree with your stupid statement that has no merit!
Just bought this system a couple of days ago, I had this exact problem and couldn't rectify the issue, took it back to the retailer the following day, got a refund no questions! Off to find a better system, Sony shouldn't bother with audio gear in my mind.
Either way the Pioneer Kuro or the Sharp Aquos is a good buy, Sharp is the the controlling company of Pioneer anyway (since 2007), so I am sure Sharp would be happy with a Pioneer puchase also :-)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
