I have used this app and it works great. For a buck it is a steal.
The problem with this theory is so few of the people that purchase the apple products ever see the keynotes.
They should be just giving away windows 7 to vista users!!
I agree with you, why would the normal consumer purchase one of these over a touch or even an ipod? No one will pay that price. There might be some people who just hate apple but the average consumer loves the apple mp3 players.
Very cool, I just got a new Ford with Sync in it and it works great with my iPhone now, but it will be nice to not have to use the ipod plugin.
Uh so not that I was watching or anything but they also gave a big mention to Hulu.
Was already thinking about cancelling my netflix and this just pushed me to do it.

I find netflix to be a good service for about 2 months max and then you just watch crap because you are paying for it. Plus if you have any movie channels you get most of the same movies on demand.
They never said if this update gives iphone users the genius playlists and the nike+ update. It seems weird that they would give it to tough users but not to iPhone users.
So by "Not going well" you mean, it is going way to well and the demand is bigger than they expected?
I am also a huge apple fanboy and I own an iPhone. I also like this new type of commercial. The only problem I have with it is that you should be able to at least do what they show you in the ad. You cannot upload pictures to your blog using an iPhone.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
