Bad move by Microsoft. I feel like the Elite should have been dropped to 399.
The Premium at 349 is alright but the Core is pointless and should be discontinued.

I returned my Premium via Best Buy Replacement for a $428 Gift Card. Went and got a Brand New PS3 60Gb for $425 out the door.

I love Xbox but how can I justify an Elite @ $450+Tax after a deal like that!

I was thinking about getting one of these to hook up via DVI to a 40" Sony LCD HDTV. The resolution on the TV is 1366x768. 1080i / 720p

$199.99

You've gotta figure... the console is $399.99 (Premium) and add on the $199.99 for a $599.99
total. The PS3 is dropping for 599 & 699 (right?)
therefore anymore then two hundred is not going
to fly and would be a waste IMO.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
